From the creators of Brownbook comes Arabic Numerals, a publication that explores the intersection of time, design, and regional identity.

Arabic Numerals is a magazine dedicated to uncovering unconventional and underexplored stories within the world of horology. Founded by architects Ahmed and Rashid, who approach watchmaking through the lens of design, architecture, and artisanal craftsmanship, the magazine presents the field as a kaleidoscope of intersecting disciplines.

In this issue:

The second edition of Arabic Numerals spans cities and disciplines from Roger W. Smith’s quiet workshop on the Isle of Man to an insight into Osvaldo Patrizzi’s journey through watch auctioneering; from a peek into Hiroshi Fujiwara’s watch collection to Jean Nouvel’s glass cathedral for the Fondation Cartier in Paris.

This issue also features the second edition of The Collector’s Guide, reviewing the history and design language of Gérald Genta.
