Thursdays by Peter Langer

Every Thursday for 17 years, Peter Langer created still-life photographs of the latest fashion accessories for the Style section of Ziet Magazin, the weekly supplement of the Hamburg-based newspaper Die Zeit.

This book showcases 250 of his most remarkable pages and provides a complete overview of all 844 compositions published as part of the series. It is all designed by Marek Polewski.

In his text, Andreas Wellnitz, originator of the award-winning column, reflects on his collaboration and friendship with Peter Langer. In her essay, Anna Sinfozik explores the key visual elements of Langer's photography.
