Guia Domingo is a series of books created by Bebidas Domingo to celebrate and praise one of the most profound passions we share as Mexicans: tacos. It is a journey through taco stands or taquerías that, given their quality or success—or simply because they have combined a tortilla with salsa and something else so brilliantly—transcend in a city that certainly has good tacos. The first edition of Guía Domingo is called “By Far, the Best Tacos Mexico City” (Por lejos, los mejores tacos CDMX), the result of deep investigation by a multidisciplinary group of people obsessed with tacos and originated by labor of love, literally. Its purpose is to reference the great Mexican taquerías, but deep inside, it also searches for more continuity. Anyone who has this book on their hands will realize that this publication dwells in a common ground between gastronomy, art, photography, and design, resulting in a genuine desire to exhibit not only the undisputable value of our tacos, but the different ways we show the world how we like doing things as Mexicans: passionately, creatively, and hungrily.
